Illawarra Yasmine is another example of the effectiveness of the Haldane "Perunoid 20" . With Prestige Valentino (of "Perunoid" descent), crossed over a combination of Jolimont The Don and ILR Peruvian Auzengate genetics, we seem to have hit the spot! Here we have a gorgeous female displaying superior qualities of extreme amplitude in her crimp, density,bundling, Valentino handle, beautiful conformation, with evenness across the fleece and the body and excellent cover! Lustre? Yes!

Over 4 years in the showring, Valentino's progeny have netted 17 supreme Championships, including Royal Shows.

Her dam, Illawarra Veronica, was Intermediate Female Champion 2001 Sydney Royal Easter Show, as well as champion at Castle Hill 2001, Hawksbury 2001, and Kangaroo Valley 2001. Both her dam, and her grand-dam, Illawarra Tiara, have consistently produced high quality crias. Yasmine will do even better. Yasmine is well grown, and ready for mating now (held back because of this auction). Her fibre stats at July 2004 at 13 months of age, were: Mean 21µ, SD 4.31µ, CV 20.5%, with a spin fineness of 20.4µ. Her comfort factor is 97.5%.
